What areas do you provide Physical Therapy services in?

High Peak Physical Therapy proudly provides service to Glens Falls, Queensbury, Lake George, and the Adirondack Park. Typically, our clients come from Warren, Washington, or Saratoga counties, but we provide our expert services to anyone willing to travel to us.

What will my first visit be like?

On your first visit you will meet with one of our expert therapists and discuss the reason for your visit. This will include an evaluation of your body mechanics, posture, gait, and movement that will help us create your personalized treatment plan. We may even begin your treatment and start your journey to a pain free, fully functional life.

How long will my appointments last?

In most cases plan to be in the office for about one hour. This may vary based on your personalized treatment plan.

What should I bring with me on my first visit?

Please bring your ID, health insurance card, and any other related paperwork. We also recommend wearing comfortable clothes.

How much physical therapy will I need?

This is determined on a case by case basis, and by a number of factors, including diagnosis, your individual healing time, and the specific situation. Generally speaking, a 6 to 12 month time frame is normal.

Who will be my physical therapist?

We assign your case to a licensed physical therapist, and make an effort to have you meet with them each session. We can also accomodate personal requests.

How long should I wait after an injury to start?

As soon as possible, unless you have instructions from your doctor to begin at a specific time. Our physical therapist want to help heal and get back in the game as soon as possible.
